We are closing in on finals week for most us college kids. I myself have gotten caught up in deadlines and projects and homework. I'm just here to tell you guys it's gonna be alright. Finals is stressful. Here's a list of little reminders.

1. Remember that your GPA won't matter in the next few years. You have a lot of time ahead of you to sort things out and graduate. Just get there.

2. Use Quizlet it's not cheating it's helpful.

3. Treat Yo Self. Staying focused can be hard so reward yourself. Take little breaks and go get that ice cream.

4. Take a nap! Sleep will help you in the long run.

5. Your parents will still love you even if you don't have the best grades.

6. The sun will still rise tomorrow if you do not do well on that final.

7. Don't beat yourself up. Everything will be okay.

8. Netflix will be there AFTER you study. Watch Gilmore Girls when you've finished that review guide.

9. Finals are not everything. Make sure you do well on quizzes and homework and get points in other areas. It's a lot of points but in most cases won't make or break you.

10. When finals are over take a deep breathe and forget about it all. Now go home and jump in your bed and sleep for several days. No worries.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
