.) My all time favorite thing about fall is crunchy leaves. Nothing is more satisfying than the crunch of leaves under your feet as you walk. I will purposefully walk out of my way step on leaves that are crispy just to hear the crunch. I love crunchy leaves.
.) If you've ever lived in the country, chances are you attend bonfires every weekend in the fall. Something about the colder temperatures just want to make you light stuff on fire. Now, some people decide to drink at bonfires. I prefer to just enjoy spending time with my friends sober. I personally love just watching the fire flicker and feel the warmth.
.) Flannel! My go to wardrobe choice for fall. Pair it with jeggings and boots, and you're set. They are warm and cute without being too hot. Bonus if you steal a flannel shirt from your boyfriend.
.) Okay, lets just get this clear, FALL CLOTHES ARE THE BEST! Boots are always cute, but when you add boot socks, they automatically become a thousand times more adorable.
.) Last clothing one, I promise. I understand that all girls wear similar things in the fall, but scarves enhance an outfit just like boot socks do. Bonus if there are animals on the scarf. I personally like foxes. Now, I don't typically wear scarves, but I think they are cute nonetheless, and a lot of people love wearing them in the fall.
.) Hay and fall decorations just give you a feel of home and the beginning of the holidays. The hay, pumpkins, and leaves make it just feel like fall and family. This is probably why middle aged moms decorate when family comes for Thanksgiving. It helps keep things calm.
.) Corn Maze! Nothing is more fun than getting lost in a big field with hay that is over your head. I'm not a huge fan of haunted corn mazes though. But I very much enjoy trying to explore and find my way out of these tricky mazes.
.) Trying to stay away from the "Pumpkin Spice Latte" junk, I really had to scratch my head to think of foods that remind us of fall. And of course, Caramel Apples fit perfectly!
.) Nothing is better than cooler weather. No more being hot and its not quite cold. The air just begins to feel cleaner without the humidity and heat of summer. Bonus if you open your windows whenever this nicer weather sets in.
.) Last, but not least, Thanksgiving! Time for turkey, pie, stuffing, bread, family, and if you're my family, SEC football. Lots of food and fellowship with the people you care about most. And then you eat the same thing for the next 3 days due to tons of leftovers.
