Every now and then, a night in with your girls is just what you need, so here are some ideas on what to do. Sometimes going out can be a hassle, so a Girl's Night In is just the solution.

1. Have A Meal Together

Whether you order in or make something, getting together with your girls and gossiping is always better on a full stomach. Chinese or pizza are always a great indulgence, but it can be a blast to make a full-fledge meal. Whatever it may be, food is a necessity.

2. Watch Your Favorite Movie

No Girl's Night In would be complete without your favorite chick flick. So snuggle up on the couch with your besties, a fuzzy blanket, and enjoy that movie. Don't forget the popcorn! If you're feeling adventurous, make a popcorn bar for you and your friends.

3. Get Your Craft On

Everyone loves a good DIY. Compile a list of projects from Pinterest, gather the materials, and go to town. Making pieces to add to your dorm room allows you to get your creative juices flowing and really make your space your own. Even if you have no artistic ability, the final product will turn out adorable regardless, because well, you made it.

4. Dye Your Hair

This may seem like a random activity, but why not spend $11.00 on pure joy and happiness? This color will likely wash out within a month or so, making a potential bad decision easy to get rid of. The memories created from this experience, however, will last forever and it makes for an interesting Snapchat story.

5. Makeovers

Staying on the trend of hair dye, recreating your style for the night is pretty bomb. Swap outfits with your friends, dig through your mom's closet to find the retro 80's attire, and have a fashion show. If your feeling up to it, doll yourself up with as much glitter and color on your face as possible.

6. Treat Yo Self

Indulging in that ice cream you've been dying to eat for a week is better when you have friends by your side. You know what would go really well with that ice cream? That's right, some cupcakes! So stuff your face with whatever chocolatey, gooey, and delicious substance you please because it's Girl's Night and you're worth it.

7. Redecorate Your Space

Channel your inner interior decorator and recreate your space with simple tweaks. By adding new accent pieces and tidying up your room, you turn your space into room goals.

8. Game Night

Throwback to the days where life consisted of Pretty, Pretty Princess and Mall Madness. Dig these games out from the back of your closet and travel back to second grade again. Trust me, you won't regret it.

9. Create New Cocktails (or Mocktails)

Create new cocktails (or mocktails) with your friends and make it your signature drink. Of course, there are going to be some changes as you go on, but this is going to be a drink worthy of the squad.

10. Whatever you do, have fun

Girl's Night In is often taken for granted. Make time for yourself and spend quality down time with your girls. This free time isn't going to last forever, so make the most of it.

Sorority

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
