I know on most tropical vacations all you want to do is relax on the beach, but don’t forget that you are in a new place... so go explore! In the Caymans, there is something for everyone to do! There are thrill-seeking options all the way to a good day-shopping! Whether you have already booked your tickets, or are trying to find a place to go for Spring Break, this list will help you decide.

1. Sting ray city

Sting ray city is an amazing place to go to. You get to take a sail boat out in the middle of the ocean, where the water is about knee deep, and you get to feed and take pictures with the sting rays!

2. Parasail

Parasailing was so thrilling! The Cayman Islands is an amazing place to do this activity because, once you are up in the air, you can see the whole islands and the gorgeous blue waters that surround them.

3. Submarine ride

This is truly incredible! You get to go about 100 feet down and explore the beauty underwater that most of us will never get to see. I recommend going on the nighttime submarine ride, because a lot of the underwater plants glow at night and look just gorgeous.

4. Bioluminescence

Go on a kayaking tour at night and see the ocean water glow! The biolumence is a once-in-a-lifetime wonder that you need to see. You can only see this in a select few places around the world!

5. Snorkel

Snorkeling is a must! With the clear blue waters and beautiful underwater life, you will have so much fun exploring.

6. Rum Point

Rum point is a fun stop! It has cute little shacks to eat and shop at, as well as great places to take scenic pictures. I recommend taking a sailboat to Rum Point because the ride over is just gorgeous.

7. Paddle boarding

If you are looking for something sportier to do, I highly recommend paddle boarding! It is a fun way to stay cool and have fun at the same time.

8. Relax on the beach

There is nothing better than just laying on the beach and working on your tan. Especially with such beautiful views right in front of you!

9. Food, food, and more food

You can't forget the amazing food on the islands. There is something for just about everyone! Most things are in walking distance, or you can enjoy a nice cab ride from the locals!

10. Go into the city

If you want a day of shopping, going into the city is for sure the best option. So much to see and do!

Now that you had the chance to read about all the amazing things to do in The Cayman Islands, go book your tickets! I promise it is a trip of a lifetime. Enjoy!

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?
