1. WATER YOUR PLANTS

We all know that this is the most important thing when taking care of anything, but we often forget to water our plants. Or sometimes we water them too much, which basically means we just give them too much love.

2. Talk to your plants

While research done on talking to plants seems to point less to a positive impact of speech and more to the plants responding positively to vibrations, you can still talk to your plants since your voice creates vibrations!

3. Name your plants

While there isn't any specific reason why naming your plants is pertinent to caring for them, but it's fun! It makes it more interesting. You might get a two for one deal with plants, like this cactus, and you can give them cute twin names!

4. Pot your plants

Potting plants is so much fun. There are a ton of places you can get good pots, and often the best pots aren't technically meant to be pots.

5. Grow a garden

Do you have yard space with good light? You could start a garden! Grow whatever you want: flowers, fruit, veggies, even weeds!

6. Find a community garden

A lot of cities have community gardens, and people really seem to enjoy them! Colleges and universities sometimes have gardens or garden clubs you can join!

7. Share your plants

Because most plants can be propagated, it's easy to end up with a ton of them! They make excellent gifts!

8. Show off your plants

If you've got 'em, flaunt 'em. People love to look at plants, and plants love light so it's a win for everyone!

9. Be passionate

If you like plants, tell your family and friends! Rope them in and get them to love plants too because they are great.

10. Love your plants

Most important of all, love your plants. Plants are a responsibility, even if they are low maintenance. Water and light are pretty easy to get, but some plants also require "food" which may just mean nutritious soil or it literally has a food product designed to keep it happy. Plants also like different soil, succulents and cacti like a sandy, well-draining soil where other plants like a soil where their roots can stay damp.

Plants are unique and individualistic living beings just like we are! You can do a lot of fun things with them and they bring us joy, but we have to remember to care for them! If you want to get some plants you can go to the garden center at a lot of stores or you can go to garden shops!

If you want to learn about caring for your plants, just google it! There are a ton of websites and blogs where people share how they keep their plants happy!
