10 Things To Do This Winter Break

College students get a month long winter break to go home and relive their high school lives they’ve left behind the past four months, often overwhelmed after finals kids want to make the most of their break, here’s eleven ways to do just that.

1. See all your friends that you miss so dearly

Remember to take lots of pictures with them, you’ll want new ones for your dorm room wall going back to school, and tell them about your new life and friends and all the little things at school that remind you of them.

2. Spend some quality time with your family

They miss you more than anyone, remember to take some full days at the holidays to just see them, you're being home for a little while means more to them than you think.

3. Bake christmas cookies and make dinner with your mom

Take advantage of home cooked meals and a full kitchen while you can.

4. Go back to visit your high school

Nothing beats the nostalgia of going back to your high school as an alumni to see all your old teachers and peers.

5. Work a lot, because you know you spent more money this semester than you can afford

6. Eat at all your favourite places you can’t get at school

7. Read a book

You have absolutely no academic responsibilities while on a break since maybe second grade, take advantage of it.

8. Take a bath

There’s not a bath tub back at your dorm, so use up those bath bombs while you can

9. Go snowboarding/skiing

If you’ve got ski mountains near you, go skiing with your family! It’s a fun day and you probably won’t have the time to make the trip with your friends at school.

10. Rest up

Definitely catch up on your sleep while you’re at home; there’s no sleep better than sleep in your own bed.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
