If you live in or near St. Louis, Missouri, you know how bad I-44 traffic is due to road construction. I have been driving for almost 5 years, and I regularly have to drive that interstate. When I finally think they are done with construction, they start a new project on the same roads they just finished. I-44 is one of the worst interstates to drive in St. Louis because of the road construction, it's not as bad as I-270 during rush hour, but it's pretty close sometimes.
Since I have always had to deal with driving that interstate with all the road construction, I have decided to put a list together of things that will happen before they are finally done with all the road work.
1. IPhone 8 will be coming out
Should be coming out sometime in 2017!
2. Toy Story Land in Disney World will be finished
There's no official date set yet, but should be opening within the next few years!
3. Me graduating college
Hoping to graduate by 2019.
4. Trump presidency will be over
Unless he tries to go for another 4 years, a new president will be named in 2020, and Trump will be out of office by early 2021.
5. Me having kids
Not really looking to have kids within the next few years, unless something happens. But I know I'll have kids before I-44 construction is done.
6. College will change
Could become more online base instead of going to classrooms. This will help you work a full-time job or take care of your children, etc.
7. Me becoming a grandparent
Hopefully this won't happen for another 30 years, but It will still happen before I-44 is done.
8. Someone will find Waldo
People have been looking since 1987, and no one has yet found him.
9. Flying cars
Heck, we won't even need roads by the time I-44 is done.
10. Cubs winning the World Series
It'll take another 108 years, but it is possible for them too win again before I can drive on I-44 without any issues.
You can never trust that Missouri is ever done with I-44 construction, but you can believe that most of things will happen before they are done. I know road construction is important, and creates many jobs, but it doesn't mean it's not a pain in my butt when I'm trying to get to work. Best of luck to everyone on their travels.
