Every year of college has something amazing to offer, but is sophomore year secretly the best of the best?
Think about it.....
1. You are used to your campus and classes after freshmen year, but you still have three long years to look forward to.
2. You have figured out your major but even if you don't end up liking it you still have room to change.
3. Friendships have been solidified so you are past the awkward small talk and into the memory making years.
4. The future and the real world still feel far away. Career fairs are irrelevant to you and getting a job is something that doesn't raise too much stress yet.
5. Everyone lives together (and if you are in Greek life most likely in your respective chapter's house). Freshmen year you pretty much prayed your roommate wasn't crazy or rooming with your best friend didn't go horrible wrong. Sophomore year you've chosen a group to live with and have a chance to escape the dorms.
6. Going to parties is mostly running around house parties and frats because you are too young for the bar and using a fake ID is way too intimidating.
7. You feel like you know so many people, but you also keep meeting new people very day.
8. Parents are still willing to buy you caf swipes so cooking for yourself is not a necessity.
9. It's still okay to get really into theme parties without looking washed up.
10. You've started referring to school as "home" because now you know it like the back of your hand.
So there you have it. Clear proof that sophomore year may just be the year of all years.
