No matter what your mother says, it's relaxing

10 Things That Makes Women Curse

People curse; men curse, women curse and dogs probably curse. It's a normal thing for people to say the F-Word or even son of a nutcracker. We'll here are somethings I've noticed that make not only myself but other women, these are some of the situations that make women curse.

1. When we lose our makeup

Makeup is like our children, they're very expensive but we love them anyways. The worst feeling is losing your makeup. Makeup is so expensive that when we lose it, we might as well put a fifty dollar bill in the toilet and flush.

2. When your eyeliner isn't even

Evening out with the boyfriend/girlfriend, you want to look your best. So you put on your face makeup and your plumpest lip gloss, next the eyeliner. You literally have to be an artist in order to make the lines even. And when you think they are nice and pretty, you screw up, and five minutes later you look like you got in a fight with Muhammad Ali.

3. Falling in public

You're strutting to chapter in your new heels you got on sale at Macy's (hush don't tell anyone) when suddenly instead of walking on your make believe runway, you are flat on your face. Falling in public is such an embarrassing thing, especially if you hurt yourself. Inside you want to cry but since you're surrounded by people staring at you and probably posting on their Snapchat stories, you can't so you suck it up but inside you're mind is saying all kinds of curse words.

4. When your shoe breaks in public

You know that feeling when you start to feel your sandals start to break and you think, "This is ok it won't break until I get home." Suddenly it just comes apart in front of your eyes then you have to walk around barefoot or with a broken shoe stapled together. You can;t help but curse.

5. Getting your period during class

You know its that time of the month and you feel it in your stomach, then in your pants. Getting your period in public is just nasty and embarrassing.

6. When you cut your leg while shaving

Shaving is one of the worst things about being a girl. You get razor burns and you cut yourself! Once you cut yourself, you are done for. There is so much blood that you don't even know what to do with yourself!

7. When your hair tie breaks and you didn't bring an extra

Having thick hair is the worst! Especially when your hair tie breaks and you didn't bring an extra because you thought this would hold up. Then you have to walk around all day looking like a slob who didn't do her hair because she was wearing a hair tie.

8. When you get thigh burns

Living in Florida is pretty cool except for one thing in the summer ... thigh Burns! Yes that rubbing of your thighs just sucks on so man levels! And it's even worse in the summer since you pretty much sweat 24/7.

9. When you forget to wear your good supported sports bra to the gym

This one goes out to the BTC! You're at the gym, you just did some weights and now your going to do a light jog, you start off on two then make it to five after a few minutes. Then it hits you that you are wearing the sports bra that makes you feel as if you're naked! Then you have to be that girl who has her boobs flying all over the place because she's dumb and forgot to wear a good sports bra.

10. When the clothes you order online don't fit

You know those websites that have the super cute dresses or rompers that look so good on the model? Yeah, don't buy those. While there's a chance it might fit, there's also a higher chance that it won't. Ordering online is such a pain in the butt, especially if the store is an online store and doesn't let you reship the order. Now if you order something from Victoria's Secret, then you can just go to the store. But if you're one of the unlucky few who order from Wanelo or one of the stores you see on Facebook, then my friend you have the right to curse like a truck driver!

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
