My mom has worked from home almost my entire life. I loved seeing my mom every day when I came home from school. I always talked to her about my day, and sometimes I would study in her office while she worked. Here are 10 things that happen to every kid who is very bored after school.

1. You seem perfectly pleasant when you arrive home.

2. Then, once you're bored, you do anything you can to get your parent's attention.

3. You always bother your parent while he or she is on an important phone call.

4. You ask for food a lot.

5. You are sad when your parent can't hang out with you.

6. You make a lot of noise on purpose with your siblings or friends.

7. Your mom or dad silences you.

8. You get annoyed that you are silenced and pretend that you did nothing wrong.

9. You start thinking of new ways to get your parent's attention, but then realize that you still have homework to do and tests to study for.

10. You are super excited when your parent says he or she is done working and/or is ready to make dinner.
