10 Things Students Should/Could Do Over Winter Break
Winter Break – No School...
  1. Baking…nothing says “holiday spirit” more than the sweet smell of baked goodies during the winter holidays.
  2. Why not find the time to catch up on that new novel series that you’ve been dying to start for awhile? Let’s try reading something we actually enjoy instead of the required reading we usually do for school.
  3. Catch up with old friends. Use this time to catch up, and reminisce on the good old days.
  4. Don’t just spend all your time hanging with your old gang, remember family means everything too. Nothing screams “happy time” more than spending time with the family-_-
  5. Need some cash? Find a part-time job. Save up for those last minute gifts for friends and family or save up for after the break.
  6. Get into the swing of developing a short and bittersweet love affair with a new movie or tv series.
  7. Check out the holiday decorations and Christmas light displays.
  8. Relax…Finals just kicked butts, this is the time to just lay low and take some time for you. Curl up with a nice blanket and a cup of warm hot chocolate and just…Relax:)
  9. Eat until your hearts content. You’ve lived on take out and dining food for months, enjoy the savoring taste of a home cooked meal!
  10. Go Iceskating…Go Sledding…Do something fun and exciting in this cold time of year, if it even is cold where you are.

Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.
