Some say that summer is the best season because of the warm air, beach days, sandy feet, flip-flops, and no school work. This is all true and there is no denying that, but fall is coming up and there is so much fun to be had. So, here's a list of some things you should be doing this fall.

1. Apple Picking

Although many people think this is such a "basic girl" activity, it can be a fun thing to do with your girl friends during the fall season.

2. Get lost in a corn maze

Corn mazes are usually only open from September-November each year so I suggest you go to one near you with some friends! They can definitely be confusing, but they are super fun. And hey, getting lost in one just calls for a fun adventure.

3. Bake a pumpkin pie

Fall is by far the best time of the year for anything pumpkin flavored.

4. Six Flags Fright Fest

Most weekends in September and October, Six Flags Great Adventure offers an event called "fright fest". Fright fest offers haunted mazes, scary shows, and walking zombies. If you like scary, you will love this.

5. Give candy to trick o' treaters

I've always loved seeing kids' costumes on Halloween and handing out treats at my house.

6. Celebrate Oktoberfest

You can drink beer an eat sausage to celebrate Oktoberfest, although it of course will not be the same as the crazy Oktoberfest in Munich.

7. Watch Disney Channel Halloween movies

During October, Disney Channel plays the best Halloween movies which will take you right back to your childhood- a great TBT!

8. Have a bonfire

Invite some friends over for a bonfire. After all, fall is the best season for a bonfire with s'mores.

9. Carve a pumpkin

Okay- I see why many people would think this is another "basic girl" event, but seriously carving pumpkins and leaving them on your front step makes your house look fall ready.

10. Drink hot apple cider

Buy some apple cider, and heat it up. It might not sound too appealing, but I promise if you love apples, you will love this fall drink.

The Battle Between College And My Mental Health

College isn't easy, and I'm afraid I'm not going to make it at the rate my mental health is going.

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?
