I am a Colorado native. I take pride in being a Coloradan and if you're reading this, then you probably do too. So here is a list of 10 things only people from Colorado will understand.
1. Directions are pretty much guided by the mountains.
West... that's all you need to remember.
2. Competing with your friends to see who has the best Chaco tan.
Even in the winter (if it hasn't faded yet).
3. Flannels. Enough said.
4. Making hard choices.
Or you can go with both and that solves the dilemma!
5. You can set up a hammock anywhere.
Yes, anywhere.
6. The interesting weather.
We have to be prepared for all weather, despite what the forecast says.
7. There's always something to do outside, no matter what the weather is like.
Rock climbing, hiking, snowboarding, or skiing; name it and we've got it.
8. We have all thought this at least once.
Lets be honest, we've thought this more than once.
9. The incredible views.
Seriously, it's a blessing waking up to this everyday.
10. Being proud to be a Coloradan!
Colorado shirts, sweatshirts, beanies and tattoos; if there's a way to show our Colorado pride, then we will take advantage of it.
