I started student teaching at the end of January. I need to complete 400 hours in order to get my license from the state. Safe to say, having this experience has been an absolutely wake up call. Here are 10 things no one tells you about being a teacher.
1. There are just some kids you can't reach.
2. Cell phones rule the world.
3. Everything you learned in college is a lie.
4. These girls are way hotter than the girls I went to high school with.
5. High school boys smell.
6. The coffee in the cafeteria is surprisingly good.
7. Kids are rude, disrespectful, and don't care.
8. Bureaucracy is the killer of dreams.
9. Everyone is screwing everyone else.
10. Teachers wouldn't do it if they didn't love it.
