New Jersey is home to millions of people who are always looking for something exciting to do. The best part is whether you live in North or South Jersey, you’re never that far from an adventure close to home. Here are some fun things to do in New Jersey this summer when you’re tired of working or getting bored of your hometown.

1. Take a trip to the Jersey Shore/ Wildwood/ Long Beach Island.

Whether you rent a place with your friends for the weekend or just make it a day trip, you’ll never find yourself bored at the beach, restaurants and especially the boardwalk.

2. Six Flags Great Adventure.

If you’re looking for some excitement, you’ll find it in Jackson, NJ. With a ton of fun and thrilling rides, you’ll be sure to have a good time at this theme park.

3. See a concert at Metlife Stadium.

East Rutherford has plenty of exciting artists lined up to play at Metlife Stadium this summer including Coldplay, Guns N’ Roses, Bruce Springsteen, and Beyoncé.

4. Catch some of your favorite NFL teams play during preseason.

Both the New York Giants and New York Jets play at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey. So put on your jersey, grab some chicken fingers and fries and enjoy.

5. Keep cool at Mountain Creek Waterpark.

This ski resort turned waterpark in the summer located in Vernon Township, NJ, will be sure to cool you down on a hot, summer day.

6. Experience White Manna Hamburgers.

If you’re hungry and looking for something quick, Hackensack, NJ has the place for you. White Manna Hamburgers, previously featured on popular television show “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” will be sure to satisfy your fast food craving.

7. Monster Mini Golf

Located in Edison, NJ, gather together a group of people and play mini-golf with a unique twist: a glow in the dark arena featuring monstrous obstacles.

8. Get weird at Ripley’s Believe It or Not!

Located in Atlantic City, NJ, this museum of weird stuff will have you intrigued the entire time walking through the many odd exhibits featured.

9. Take a trip to the Turtle Back Zoo

If you’re looking for something family-friendly, this zoo located in West Orange, NJ, will provide you with a fun day filled with animals. It doesn't get much better than that.

10. Grab some breakfast at Country Pancake House.

This pancake house, located in Ridgewood, NJ, will be sure to fulfill your big appetite with their signature large pancakes.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.
