10 Things You Can't Wait To See Again When You Return To Fairfield U

It was a long couple of months without our favorite place. I'm not complaining because who doesn't love a good summer, but as we all settle back into school in the next two weeks, there are countless things that we can look forward to about our semester at Fairfield.

Here are 10 of my favorite things that I miss about Fairfield and can't wait to get back for.

1. The campus

Who’s ready for their Snapchats to be filled with beautiful sunset pictures?

2. The Tully

Hopefully our new dining hall will be done in time for us to quickly forget about Barone.

3. The beach

We can really only utilize the beach for the first couple of months, but utilize it, we will.

4. Friends

Since many of our friends don’t live near us at home, we can’t wait to see everyone again after a long three months.

5. Making new friends

No matter what year of college you’re going into, there are always opportunities to make new friends.

6. Downtown Fairfield

It’s been a while without Colony.

7. Milkcraft

Mass at home just isn’t the same without your friends.

9. The faculty and staff

While we may not be excited about homework, we get to see our favorite professors and the best employees in Barone.

10. The RecPlex

Not all of us have a gym that nice at home.

Don't waste your time trying to write that paper when there are so many more interesting things you could be doing.

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
