The thought of being at Syracuse for two months already is nuts. The hours, days, weeks, fly, and you sit there thinking about how fast this is going. You don't want it to rush by, these are the four best years of your life. In those two months, you learned so much, such as:

10. Less hours of class means more hours of work

9. An early night is 1:30

8. When one person gets sick, so does everyone else

7. Ernie Davis blows away the rest of the dining centers

6. Climbing the stairs to the Mount should be avoided at all costs


5. Marshall Street will be the hub of your night life

4. Tailgates will drain you for the rest of the night...and weekend

3. Any party at a frat, East Adams, Euclid, or Comstock is bound to be sick

2. DJ's will become your second home

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?
