Working with new people in a new job can be one of the scariest things on the planet, and in my case, starting my first job was one of the scariest things I've ever done. Of course I applied at a place where I knew some of the people and liked the environment, but the business from the inside and the outside are two totally different things. Meeting my new coworkers was the second scariest thing I've ever done. However, coworkers are the coolest people you'll ever meet, in my case, but here's 10 things you know to be true if your coworkers become your best friends.

1. You look forward going to work.

It feels weird letting a day go by not filling in your coworkers of what happened to you last night after your shift or showing them the funny video you saw on Facebook that reminded you of them.

2. If you're the youngest, you gain several more "parents".

They care about you, so they just want you do be the best and do your best, while you're still young and have your whole life ahead of you, they want to help you grow and be the best version of yourself.

3. Inside jokes.

Whether it's a nickname or jokes about customers or clients, there's something about everyone that can make you laugh.

4. You know their Starbucks order by heart.

One always gets a Treinta in everything, and the other gets a vanilla iced latte. Boom you could order in your sleep.

5. Lunch is basically family dinner.

Lunch break is a holy time and whether you pack from home or go to the new place next door that just opened, you always know who cares what they're eating and who's eating because they're hungry (guilty).

6. Going out with them is totally normal.

Some people hate the thought of spending extra time with the people they work with, but you can't get enough time with them.

7. There becomes a point where "coworker" isn't as appropriate as "friend".

You spend hours a day with these people and you learn a lot about each other and soon you're no longer strangers.

8. When they move on, they lose a part of you.

It's like losing a family member but on a less severe level, but it still sucks to know that work will be so different without just one of them.

9. You know everything about them.

Good and bad, you know everything about them, which is a blessing and a curse at the same time.

10. They're some of the best people you have ever met.

They've gotten to know you and changed your life all at the same time, even if it's at the slightest. You care about them and they care about you and you'd do anything for them and they'd do anything for you.

I feel bad for the people that hate their coworkers, because mine are some of them are the coolest and y'all are just missin' out.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
