10 Things That Make Me Happy

This past week was a week full of happiness and just being thankful for life. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays because it helps you value the good in life. Positivity is something that I take seriously in my life. I love to smile and laugh and create unforgettable memories with amazing people. Being a happy person I still have my bad days, I refuse to let those times get me down, I came up with a way to beat a bad day. Here are the ten things that make me happy and every time I go through this list it works every time, I hope that this works for you as well.

1. Cute animal videos.

2. Shopping.

I sure do enjoy a great deal.

3. Laughing.

It is true laughter is the best medicine. Whenever you feel sadness approaching go and laugh it off. When you are thinking deeply about life instead of thinking about it in a bad way just laugh at life. I laugh about my life every day. Life is weird it is okay to let things go and laugh it off.

4. Hugging someone.

I love hugging, I am a hugger so when we meet each other for the first time be prepared to be embraced by a little blonde girl.

5. Great music.

I love singing loudly in the car, and I love a song that can get everyone to sing together. Great music brings everyone together and that makes me happy, because who doesn't like music?

6. Friends and Family.

I am so grateful to have the people in my life that I have. Special shout out to you all I would throw in a few names, but instead, you all know who you are and I love you all.

7. Beach, water, and sunshine.

Yes. I love the beach I am a Florida girl so a little piece of my heart will forever belong to the ocean.

8. Adventure.

I am spoiled being involved with the aviation world. I love spontaneous flights to join friends for dinner in Marathon, Florida or go spend the day in St. Augustine, Florida. The memories that aviation provides is something that makes me so happy with my life.

9. Making others smile.

Every day I wake up with one goal and that goal is to make at least one person's day a great day.

10. Smiling.

I wake up every morning and smile because a smile makes the day an automatic great day. It was something I started doing back in high school and I never fail to find a smile on my face when I wake up in the morning. It is such a strong feeling.

XO,

M

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
