Whether you're the only girl out of all your siblings or have brothers and sisters, there is no doubt that growing up with older brother is a special experience. I have two older brothers (who ironically enough each have baby girls now) that are both serving in the military and believe me, I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world. But I will admit, there are a few things I have found that you will only hear growing up when you're a girl with an older brother.
1. You're not wearing that out of the house.
2. Don't touch the radio.
3. If he makes you cry, I will kill him.
4. You want to get what pierced? Absolutely not.
5. Those _____ are mine — don't eat them.
6. I barely even touched you!
7. Get out of my room!
8. Go ask mom and dad about ___.
9. Shut up.
And the occasional...
10. I love you.
Thank you to big brothers everywhere for protecting us baby sisters, loving us unconditionally, being a confidant to listen to us when mom and dad bug us, a chauffeur before we could drive, for giving us the best advice and for always being the greatest big brothers a girl could ever want.
