1. Cooler Weather

If you are anything like me, you hated the extreme heat we had this past summer. Now that is is officially fall, the temperature is dropping down to something more comfortable and I love it.

2. Fall Foliage

I am ready for a little change in the color of the leaves. Also, leaves are so much prettier in red, orange and yellow compared to just green!

3. Pumpkin Flavored Everything

If you happen to enjoy pumpkin flavored snacks from cookies to potato chips, you are in luck! All of these snacks are starting to be put on the shelves for your enjoyment.

4. Carving Pumpkins

This is always a fun activity whether you're with your friends or family. The designs you can carve are endless.

5. Pumpkin Patches

As a kid, going to a pumpkin patch was one of my favorite activities. As a teen, I can still say I love going to pumpkin patches. It is such a great place to make memories.

6. Hay Rides

A hay ride never fails to bring smiles to faces of all ages.

7. Haunted Houses

Everyone loves a good thrill every now and then!

8. Netflix Shows

This October Netflix is adding some pretty great shows and movies including "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" and "Haters Back Off!".

9. Halloween Films

Spice up your slumber party with a fun Halloween movie!

10. Trick or Treating

So much free candy! Who could complain?

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
