So some of us struggle with things to do during breaks from school, at least once you get to college this tends to be the struggle. In the fall we have labor day weekend, fall break, and Thanksgiving. What do you do on the breaks where campus doesn't close down though?
Here's some ideas for you:
1. Go on an alternative fall/spring break. Outdoor pursuits in the Rec center offer these.
2. Go home and spend time with family and do a fun trip like a trip to the zoo or to the park.
3. Hang out with friends on campus and explore Muncie. There's the MITS bus on Saturday's.
4. Have some much earned time off. Spoil yourself with a day to yourself and just unplug for a day.
5. Road trip (if you can) with some friends even if its only to a place 2 hours away. The memories are worth it.
6. Read a good book. Yeah we read for classes but find a book you'd enjoy and just sit and read.
7. Volunteer. There's so many places in Muncie to do so at. Pet shelter, Community centers.
8. Catch up on homework so you're ahead during midterm week. Yeah, it's not the most fun but gets you ahead and less stressed.
9. Be crafty. Make something you've been wanting to make. Hobby lobby is open every day but Sunday.
10. Movie weekend! Binge on your favorite movie series either by yourself or with fellow fans.
