"Grey’s Anatomy" has been a hot commodity for 12 seasons now. For all of you who drooled over Mark Sloan and Derek Shepard’s unhealthy yet extremely attractive best friend relationship, obsessed over Meredith and Derek’s love for one and other, and cried when you thought he was never going to be able to be a surgeon again after the plane crash... We can all relate to these 10 things Derek Shepard said that made your heart melt.

1. "You were like coming up for fresh air. It's like I was drowning and you saved me."

Who wouldn't want McDreamy to say this to them? Saving Derek Shepard was the best thing Meredith ever did.

2. "I love you, and I'm not going to stop loving you, Meredith. I can't live without you."

Derek's death is proof that he could never live without her.

3. "There are moments... moments that in a split second your life changes forever, and before you know it... you're somewhere else."

We've all had these moments, moments that we were unsure of what their outcomes would be, but at the end of the day we all know that everything is going to be OK, no matter where life takes you.

4. "You broke her. You taught her time and time again that nothing she ever does is good enough."

Any man who defends his women is a man that needs to be kept. Especially, if he defends you to your own mother who needs to hear it from someone.

5. "You deserve to be with someone who makes you happy. Someone who isn't going to complicate your life. Somebody who won't hurt you."

Everyone deserves to hear this. No women should be with someone who brings her down, only picks her up.

6. "Meredith wasn't a fling. She wasn't revenge. I fell in love with her. That doesn't go away because I decided to stay with you."

Though we all got mad at Derek for choosing Addison over Meredith when she showed up at Seattle Grace, he was never scared to tell Addison his true feelings for Meredith, and that is heart warming.

7. "That's how you stay alive. When it hurts so bad you can't breathe, that's how you survive. By remembering that one day, somehow, you won't feel this way. It won't hurt as much.

Derek survived a gunshot to the chest, a plane crash, and was able to handle Meredith's insecurities.

8. "You're the love of my life. I can't leave you, but you're constantly leaving me."

He could never leave the one woman who constantly let him down before realizing how much she really meant to him. He never gave up on Meredith.

9. "From now on you can expect that I'm going to show up. Even if I yell, even if you yell, I am always going to show up."

He always came back, no matter how many times we all thought he would leave.

10. "It's a beautiful day to save lives."

Derek was able to save lives so those patients could live to see how beautiful every day is.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.
