At this point in the semester, there are definitely a lot of things that college students are not happy about. Tests, quizzes, papers, and so many other things have us wishing we could drop out and join a circus. However, this time of year is a time to appreciate the great things we do have:
Student discounts
Free drinks at Qdoba and $5.99 for Spotify premium? Please and thank you.
Frozen dinners
They're cheap, they're fast, and sometimes they even taste good. Marie Calender's is truly a blessing for those of us who are too lazy (or too accident prone) to cook.
Any free food
The best events you go to are the ones that give you free pizza.
Anything caffeinated
Energy drinks, soda, and/or coffee are essential parts of any college diet. How else are you supposed to stay up writing that paper you put off for three weeks?
Netflix/Hulu/Amazon
Okay, so maybe these do more harm than good, but that's not gonna stop us from being thankful for them. Healthy or not, being able to watch a whole season of a show in one sitting is pretty amazing.
The internet
Pretty generic, but you know we take it for granted. Of course it's frustrating at times, but can you imagine going a day without it?
Any time class is canceled

The freedom to do what you want
Again, something that may not be a "good" thing, but learning how to take care of yourself and live on your own is a really cool thing.
Getting an education

Making awesome memories as you go
While it may not always feel like the best time of our lives, college is an exciting time full of learning and experiencing new things. This is most likely a time where we have the most freedom with the least amount of responsibilities, so enjoy it! And while you're pursuing these great new things, don't forget to be thankful for what you already have.
Happy Thanksgiving!
