10 Things You Can Do to Make Others Mad While Making Your Day Better

If you're like I am, every once in awhile, you like to mess with your friends or random citizens. (By once in awhile, I mean every day.) It's hilarious and makes your day better while making theirs a tad bit worse. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not out to piss people off every day, but like every good prank or joke, it's bound to make others mad. Without further adieu, I bring you my list of 10 things you can do to make others mad while simultaneously making your day funnier.

1. Bump into the person wearing camo.

Next time you see someone wearing camouflage in public, make sure to bump into them to let them know its definitely working. Making a funny face and acting surprised like you didn't see them. If you need a reference as to what face you should make, aim for this:

2. Play the Inappropriate game.

A surefire way to embarrass your friends or future ex-friends is to say inappropriate things unusually loudly in a crowd.

3. Text your grammatically correct friend horrible grammar.

Everyone has that one friend who just can't seem to keep their grammatically correct ways to themselves. So what if I don't know the difference between there, their and they're!

4. Eat various foods excessively loudly.

Next time you're in the library and looking for a quick snack to eat while studying, opt for something really annoying to others, but extremely delicious to you, like chips!

5. Be loud in general.

Everyone hates the person who doesn't know the difference between an outdoor voice and an indoor voice. (#ThrowbackToKindergarden). Be that person.

6. Make everything a competition.

"What was that? I'm sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of me winning." Life is a competition. No, it's more serious than that. Life is like the Hunger Games to you, and you're the Girl on Fire.

7. Make sure to tell everyone your opinion. All the time.

Whether they asked for it or not, your opinion matters and everyone should know it. It doesn't matter if it's warranted or even relevant.

8. Don't text your friends back, but absolutely post things on social media.

There is no better time to post things on social media than when your friends are trying to get a hold of you. Tagging them would probably speed up the process.

9. Talk to people with headphones on.

Everyone knows that headphones mean social hour is over, but seeing as though you're purposely trying to make people mad today, only speak to people who are clearly trying to zone out with headphones on. Extra points if you pull them out and try talking to them.

10. Laugh at your own jokes.

Yeah sure, you may know you're funny, but make sure everyone else knows how clever your jokes are by laughing at them. Once again, bonus points if everyone is dead silent.

The library. Club lib. The place every college student goes when they want to try and be a productive member of society. Who better to explain your experience than Parks and Rec?

1. When you've finally found the energy to leave your dorm room and walk into the lib like

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
