You know, those things you know, about biking.

Biking is the best.

1. Biking is fucking awesome, and you're awesome for burning fat and not burning gas.

Heck yeah, you know it.

2. When you can bike without using your hands, it feels like you're flying.

At least, that's how I feel anyway...

3. Biking in the rain is mostly crappy but can be sort of fun.

If you have nowhere to be, and you can easily go home and dry off, that's what makes it doable. Oh also if you aren't riding in a storm.

4. It feels good to get in exercise daily.

If you bike to and from school or more-BAM there's some nice exercise for the day.

5. Biking is therapeutic.

Put in some headphones day or night, hit the road and you're outta sight. So nice.

6. Passing cars makes you feel cool.

You may or may not get to your destination faster than someone in a car, but when there's traffic it sure does make ya feel good.

7. You hate when the car in front of you doesn't use their blinker.

Everyone should just really use their blinker.... or hand signals.

8. When you pass by another biker, you get that inclusive nod, wave or smile.

Makes it all worth it.

9. It's really rad to use your body to propel yourself forward.

You are literally getting yourself from point A to B! How cool!

10. Night bike rides are the best, hands down.

If you haven't done this yet, this is something that's needed. I live in small, college town where the kids leave for breaks and that's the best time to do it. When no one else is out. With front and back lights too of course.

Thanks for reading!! Get on your bike and ride!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
