As a college student that will be graduating in May, I think I can accurately attest to how my fellow classmates are currently feeling about the remaining time we have left in school, and our uncertainty about our future endeavors.
And so, with my high-level of maturity, knowledge, and poise, here are 10 things all seniors in college can relate to right now, as told by SpongeBob Squarepants:
1. Weekends are not long enough.
2. Staying in has become more fun than going out (and way less expensive).
3. Sleep has been replaced with homework, grad school applications, internship/job applications, and crippling anxiety over the unforeseen future.
4. Homework has, somehow, been taking much longer to complete than it used to. Hmm.
5. Observing all the Freshmen that are so excited about being in college, and wondering when that stopped for you.
6. Instead of actually being productive, you just sit there and think about how much you have to get done.
7. When people keep asking what your plans are for after graduation, and you stand there remembering that you have no idea what you're going to do with your life.
8. All-nighters have become increasingly more taxing on the body than they were freshman year, and finals week takes a big toll on your mental state.
9. Realizing you spent four years of your life studying and going to classes, and soon you'll be in the real world without school or a clue of what to do.
10. Despite the hard work, debt, and stress, college was pretty cool, and the experiences we made are ones we will carry with us through life.
