Kids born in the 90's share a bond that no other decade can relate to.
1. You either had a razor flip phone or chocolate.
This was the equivalent to not having an iphone..... and if your phone didn't slide up you felt even worse.
2. Mario Kart was your life and beating Rainbow Road was harder than physics and economics class combined.
You screamed at your TV screen more then than you do watching the Super Bowl now.
3. Riding down the hallway in Heely's made you feel like the coolest kid in the world.
These were probably the biggest injury causer of 2007.
4. Razor scooters were your only form of transportation.
If you wanted to visit your friend down the street, your scooter was your car.
5. If you behaved well, your parents would let you stay up until 9 to watch Randy Jackson on American Idol.
You watched this show solely to see Randy tell contestants "it's a no from me dog."
6. GAP logo sweatshirts filled your closet in all colors of the rainbow.
And once you retired from these, you moved onto having every color sweatshirt and logo tee from Hollister or Abercrombie.
7. Recess four square was more competitive than the olympics.
Losing your king's spot was basically like losing a gold medal.
8. The Pacific Coast Academy in Zoey 101 was your dream school.
This school created unrealistic expectations for kid's dream colleges, not to mention expectations for the coolest scooters and phones.
9. The upgrade from the Game Boy to the Nintendo DS was one of the biggest changes of your life.
And if you didn't have the DS Lite, you automatically felt a step behind.
10. Birthday parties at the arcade or bowling alleys were the highlight of your month.
There truly was nothing better than spending your Friday night with your whole class bowling, playing arcade games, and eating pizza. Getting the themed goodie bags at the end of the party was also a huge game changer.
