Christmas is approaching, and friends and family may be inquiring about what you want for Christmas. If there is nothing you can think of to put on your Christmas list, take a look at these 10 things that basically every college student will want for Christmas.

1.Puppies

Puppies are a heal-all type of gift. Every college student needs a little stress relief, and snuggling a cute little puppy is the perfect remedy. Put one of these little guys under our Christmas tree and we will be jumping for joy.

2.Free Time

Yes, this isn’t a tangible gift, but all college students would love a little free time. Busy schedules, homework every night, jobs, class, social life and naptime. We barely have any time to eat. We could all use a little free time this holiday season.

3.Money

Being a broke college student is hard when Jimmy Johns is mocking you everywhere you go. You are craving a sub sandwich but can barely afford a pack of ramen. Money=food and food= a very happy college student.

4. Blankets

When the weather gets cooler, college students get lazier, which means more and more naps! Sure we have so much to do, but naps are the best medicine out there. Blankets are perfect when the weather is frightful, and your to-do list is also frightful, and you just want to be all warm and cozy under a big blanket.

5.No Stress

Every day we are bombarded with homework, group projects, deadlines, quizzes and exams. Nothing would be better than having nothing to worry about, and nothing on your radar. All I need is a cup of hot chocolate, a Christmas movie and not a worry in the world.

6. A Job Offer

I'd be lying if I said I didn’t think about my future employment every single day of my life. It would take a weight off of our shoulders if we all knew that there was a job waiting for us at the end of the road.

7.Food

Food is life and it makes everything better. This holiday season, all college students want is some home cooked meals and something other than package oatmeal and old bananas.

8.Fuzzy Socks

Obviously, this is a must for college students everywhere. Even if you don’t live somewhere cold, everyone has cold feet. Fuzzy socks are perfect to throw on when we are lounging around, or simply to wear secretly under boots. The more festive the better.

9.Coffee

This is an essential gift for college students. We drink it when we are stressed, but at this point, we are basically dependent on it. Any coffee will do, as long as it's not decaf.

10. A 4.0

Please Santa, can I have a 4.0 for Christmas. I swear I’ve been very good this year! All that we ask, is that we end the semester on a high note, so we can feel good about ourselves as we slip into a coma full of naps and cookies.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
