All accident-prone people can agree that our lives are a little more hazardous than others. We manage to find new and exciting ways to hurt ourselves and often have no idea how we did it. Even when we try not to be clumsy, we ruin it by doing something embarrassing like tripping on the smallest object in the room or falling in front of a crowd. These are things that all clumsy people understand, and although we hate being the klutz, we find comfort in knowing that others feel the same struggle that we do. Here are 10 things that all clumsy people know all too well:

1. Always being covered in scrapes and bruises

Every clumsy person knows what it's like to be covered in scrapes and bruises. There are times when we look like war survivors. I don't know how many times I've been asked if someone other than myself bruised my body, and how many times I've had to embarrassingly tell them that the bruises are from falling down (and sometimes even up) the stairs.

2. We're best friends with our doctors

We often find ourselves on the way to the doctor’s office for injuries that were given to us by our own two feet. We might even end up there more than twice a month, sometimes with broken bones and concussions. Despite our horrors of going to the hospital, our doctors are always there to greet us, shaking their heads in disappointment at the fact that we hurt ourselves again.

3. Everything is dangerous, even our own feet

This might be the most well-known fact of all. Nothing is safe. Anything and everything can make us fall, whether it's a spilled drink or a small dog. We have to be constantly aware of our surroundings for fear of falling, or we will find our way to the floor. This can be humiliating depending on what we trip on, and we can guarantee we'll be teased forever if we trip on our own feet.

4. We embarrass ourselves in front of everyone

No matter what, clumsy people will find a way to embarrass themselves. This is more than just falling in front of people, though. This can mean accidentally hitting ourselves while playing a sport or knocking over and breaking a vase. The possibilities are endless, and often there will be people around to see what we wish would stay secret. Prepare for laughter, folks.

5. We're always running low on Band-Aids

The first line of defense for us klutz is the Band-Aid. Most of our scrapes aren't that bad, but there's often more than one cut on our bodies. This means using an abundance of Band-Aids, and always having to run to the store to get more. We go through boxes of the stuff, and our trash cans are filled with the paper wrappers. Sometimes being covered in Band-Aids can be more alarming than cuts themselves, but we have an obsessive-like desire to cover our scrapes all the same.

6. Our friends and family are constantly making fun of us

As previously stated in #4 of this list, it is impossible for uncoordinated people to get away with embarrassing ourselves. Our only hope is for people to forget us making a fool of ourselves, but most of the time our friends and family won't let that happen. They'll often bring accidents of the past up in conversation, just to remind us of how clumsy we are and how funny that is. There is no such thing as forgetting what happened if our loved ones were around to witness it.

7. People make sure not to get too close to us

The people around us know what we are like, and make sure to stay as far away from as possible without being rude. They know that if we fall they're falling with us, and if we get hurt so will they. They have enough common sense to steer clear from us if they think we're about to do something clumsy, and honestly who could blame them.

8. We've almost died, like, eight times

The list of near death experiences we've had is a lot higher than most. Our accidents are harmless most of the time, but on rare occasions, we can do some real damage. I've managed to fall into oncoming traffic, for instance. Sometimes our clumsiness can put us in danger, and we thank God every day that we haven't met him yet.

9. Our electronics aren't safe

Owning a smartphone with the luck that we have is like playing a game of Russian Roulette. We know we'll drop the phone. We know it will shatter. But we buy the phones anyway, and hope that for once in our lives we won't break something.

10. We forgive ourselves

With the number of times that we mess up, it's no wonder that we are so good at forgiving ourselves. We know that messing up is just a part of life, and just like with embarrassing ourselves when we fall or whatever else we do, we know that it's best to just forgive and forget. There's no reason to dwell on the embarrassing moments we face or the amount of money we spend on Band-Aids. We know that the only thing we can do is try to be less clumsy next time, no matter how hard of a task that is. Forgiving ourselves is a huge part of who we are, and is maybe even a bigger part of us than being so uncoordinated in the first place.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
