Hannah Montana was right… everybody has those days. But what matters is how you react to your not so perfect days. Remember these 10 things and I guarantee your day won’t be so bad anymore.
1. Take what went wrong today and use it to make tomorrow right.
This speaks for itself. There is no reason to carry over today’s problems into tomorrow. Everyday is a new day, with new potential, and new light.
2. What you give to the universe, the universe will give back to you.
If you say you’re going to fail, you will fail. If you say you are going to be sad today, you will be sad today. The universe has more power than we think!
3. What happened that cannot be fixed eventually?
Put your bad day into perspective, is it really going to affect your whole life?
4. Count your blessings not your problems.
Cliché but so important; our blessings are not guaranteed and as quickly as our problems came, our blessings can leave even more quickly.
5. Never underestimate the power of people.
Find your support group around you. Call your friends or family to just talk. Get coffee with your roommate or watch a movie together. Remove yourself from what is holding you down and detox with positive people surrounding you.
6. Stay true to you.
If you are not living outyour beliefs and dreams you are no longer on the journey to YOUR happiness.
7. It’s just one thing.
It’s one test, it’s one person, and it’s one mistake. It’s not the end of the world.
8. Learn what works and what doesn’t.
Work out in the morning to set the mood for the day, or at night to release built up negative energy. Stop hanging out with people who only complain or those who put you down. It’s your life.
9. Anger is passion in the wrong direction.
Your emotions are spurring from somewhere, for something. Use them.
10. If you are not confident in yourself, nobody will be confident in you.
How you feel about yourself translates with your attitudes, body language, ideas and values. Don’t let people put you down because you feel down. Love yourself and that will shine through to the world.
