There are several different tones you can use when texting someone. If you're communicating with your boss, you probably fill the text with formalities and proofread it twice. But we all let our guards down when we text our best friends in the whole wide world. Below are some blue and gray speech bubbles you can probably relate to.

One best friend is never ashamed of revealing embarrassing tidbits to another.

2. Complimentary

True friends are never afraid to give you credit and boost your confidence. And that's awesome.

3. Outfit Advice

This usually happens before any special event, especially ones where group pictures will most likely occur.

4. TV Recommendations

Your best friend knows exactly which episode will make you laugh.

5. Details, Details

A best friend will lay it all out in the open for you. They'll fill you in about the night before, step by step.
