Videos have skyrocketed in popularity on Facebook, with over 100 million hours of videos watched a day. The Facebook page, Tasty, has found the ultimate combination to success on such a platform: video and food. The page has sped up video tutorials of recipes in attempts to demonstrate that cooking is actually easy and that we shouldn’t be discouraged from a recipe just because we don’t understand all of the lingo. The video tutorials all use simple ingredients as well as everyday cookware that are found in standard kitchens.
I, succumbing to the aesthetic of the exotic desserts posted on their page, decided to try out a Tasty recipe to see if I could replicate the beautiful afterimage. Now, all Tasty recipes are certainly achievable, maybe for a chef. But as someone who somehow manages to screw everything up, I noticed that these recipes
were not goof-proof. Without further ado, here are 10 Tasty recipes that are feasible for the average cook.
1. Grilled Shrimp Tacos with Creamy Cilantro Sauce
This recipe is great for a dinner with a lot of guests over (one

Don’t be scared of the skewers or the grill. Really, all you have to be worried of is if one of your friends doesn’t like cilantro (honestly, it’s delicious and doesn’t taste like soap, okay?)
