1. Marcia's Silver Spoon Cafe

My Dad and I discovered this greasy diner last year and the biscuits and gravy are unlike any other. This place is for you if you love brunch and perfectly browned hash browns.


2. Montemara Kitchen

This quaint little eatery offers breakfast and lunch. Although famous for their eggs benedict, their salads are delicious and hard to find elsewhere in Tacoma.

3. Silk Thai

The best Thai food in Tacoma! Silk Thai offers a candle lit setting and an array of delicious curries for a great meal off campus! Not to mention, it sure hits the spot on a rainy day!

4. Pho Tai

Another thing perfect for a rainy day is a bowl of Pho! This hot soup is amazing for a quick bite off campus and great for those on a budget.


5.TheKOI

You thought Trapper's was good? You thought wrong. This sushi is the freshest in Tacoma and my favorite restaurant around. Try the Salmon Lovers Roll, it's amazing!

6. Savor Creperie

Who doesn't love crepes? This cute little cafe is great for a grab and go kind of meal and serves both savory and sweet crepes.

7. Shake Shake Shake

Craving something greasy to soak up that hangover? Shake Shake Shake is sure to please. Don't skip out on the milkshakes here, you'll regret it.

8. La Fondita

Since I'm from California, Mexican food is something that I crave. La Fondita offers authentic cuisine and their enchilada sauce is amazing.

9. Cafe Brosseau

Cafe Brosseau is a cute little cafe right off of Puget Sound's campus. It serves small bites, amazing lattes, and their avocado toast is something special.

10. Duke's Chowder House

Duke's Chowder House is by far the best waterfront Seafood in Tacoma. This place is amazing and serves seafood from local fisherman. Duke's is a perfect treat after a long week of tests and papers.
