Early bird catches the worm? Well to be quite honest, worms disgust me. We night owls thrive in the wee late night hours and our productiveness practically doubles when the sun goes down. So, to all of you night owls out there, you will definitely understand what I am talking about.

1. You promised yourself last night you would finally get to bed early but quickly realize that’s not going to happen.

2. All of your friends go to bed before you, so you don't have anyone to talk to.

3. You only intend on watching one more episode on Netflix, and suddenly, you have watched half of a season.

4. You instantly become a creative genius and your greatest ideas and thoughts come out when the clock switches to a.m.

5. The late night munchies hit hard, and you become hungry for everything and anything AKA fourth meal (or tenth).

6. The Internet consumes you, and you simply can’t stop surfing.

7. You are already thinking about all of the coffee you will consume in the morning.

8. And the nap(s) you are going to take.

9. You wake up with minimal sleep and instantly regret snoozing off at 3:30 a.m.

10. But then cycle begins again. Maybe tonight will be the night you finally go to sleep at a decent hour (probably not).

Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:

If you are like me, you have an interesting personality. Basically, you love to be sassy and snarky, gossip, and act like a total bitch (not really), but deep down, you are actually a very genuinely nice person. The idea of actually hurting someone truly makes you feel bad, and you probably have never actually hurt someone’s feelings because your kindness always shines through, even if you do not want it to. Not sure exactly what I would call this type of personality, but if you identify with it, here are some feelings you can undoubtedly relate to.
