Being a Buffalo Bills fan comes with a lot of struggles. Through the ups and downs, we still stand by our team even if they continue to make us buy lots of alcohol and drink the pain away.

Here're 10 struggles every Buffalo Bills fan encounters at some point in their lives.

1. Hearing the "Wide Right" joke 100 times.

Keep cracking those (lame) jokes, but Scott Norwood is still a hero to every person in the city of Buffalo.

2. You keep telling everyone that the team is still in the "rebuilding process."

It feels like Buffalo fans have been telling everyone for the last decade that we're still rebuilding. Truthfully, that's what we tell ourselves at night so we can sleep.

3. Hearing that Buffalo sucks because of the weather.

If you can't handle the cold, then Buffalo might not be the place for you. There's a specific breed that can handle the negative temperatures and the giant piles of snow — their called Buffalonians.

4. The only way to attend a playoff game is to see other teams play.

Seeing other teams play can be a bummer, but bringing Bills Mafia to different places is always exciting.

5. When people tell you Zubaz pants aren't actually pants.

Don't let those haters bring you down, keep rocking those Zubaz out in public.

6. Actually sobbing when Freddy Jackson got released.

The city of Buffalo was devastated when the news broke about Freddy being released.

He was a fan favorite, a good teammate, and a great role model.

Thank you, Freddy Jackson, we miss you.

7. Getting blamed for Kim Kardashian's fame.

You think going to the Superbowl four times in a row and losing all of them would be enough, but now we also have to be connected to Kim Kardashian in some way. We have enough to drink about, we don't need this problem in our life.

8. Having to deal with a new quarterback every year.

The Buffalo Bills quarterback position has been like a revolving door since Jim Kelly. Every couple years we've acquired a new quarterback who still doesn't lead us to the playoffs. It's OK, we're still "Bill"-eving.

9. Getting made fun of because we're the drunkest fans in the NFL.

You'd be drinking, too if your team didn't make it to the playoffs for 16 years straight.

10. Nervous about getting moved to a different city, but not anymore!

Suck it, Bon Jovi!

We are staying right here in Western New York, thanks to the Pegula family!

Out of the struggles every Buffalo fan goes through, it's all worth it in the end.

Let's go, Buffalo!

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
