Your head and your heart tend to get confused.

You're a dive in first, let go of the safety net kind of girl. You are someone who fights like hell for what you want, who you want, and the dreams and goals you have. Sometimes you might be leading with your heart more than you should, but it's also taken you to places you never thought you could go. People may say it's better to think before you act/speak and use your head, but when it comes down to it, the decisions we choose with our hearts are usually the ones that mean the most.

There are some "struggles" however that come along with being an 'all or nothing' kind of gal that plays the game of life with her heart on her sleeve. From relationships to friendships, to the way we act, here are a few of them:

1. Playing it cool doesn't work for you.

When you start feeling some type of way for someone it's almost impossible to act nonchalant and poised; two terms I have not yet come to know. It's that feeling that you don't want to wait around and you surely don't want to play games. You are the kind of girl who makes moves, or at least talks about making moves enough.

2. You follow your heart over your head every time.

Even when you try to listen to your head, it's so dang hard. How are you suppose to ignore this beating in your chest that's screaming for you to kiss the boy or do what your head is telling you not to? This is the question, and I still don't know the answer.

3. You are a true-teller.

One of the greatest blessing and curses of being an 'all or nothing' kind of girl is that you always say exactly what's on your mind and you don't hold back. Some think this quality is endearing; however, others think you should have bit your tongue long ago. I for one believe telling people the true, even if they don't want to hear it, is the right thing to do. But, I suppose I'll leave this one up to you.

4. You love big gestures.

Whether they have happened to you or not, you can't tell me you haven't imagined that one boy pulling a John Cusack kind of move on you.

5. No isn't the final word for you.

When someone tells you that you can't do something, it's not the end of the conversation, it's fuel to the fire. Hearing people discourage your efforts, doesn't bring you down, it pushes you to prove them wrong and to prove to yourself that you can do it. You have a lot more fight in you than you may realize.

6. You seek adventure.

You love to explore, to be spontaneous, to try new things, and to discover new interests. Doing the same old, same old won't keep you going; you need new perspective, new places, and new faces to keep your wild heart at bay.

7. You crave answers.

It's another one of those blessings and curses that comes along with being all in. There come times when a simple answer won't satisfy your curiosity so you go searching; sometimes you like what you find and sometimes you don't. It's just the name of the game. Other times, your need for answers forces you to question those around you, sometimes enough cannot be enough. However, looking on the blessing side, a craving for answers can lead you to question your own life. It can lead you to seek what's meaningful to you, and to discover what powers truly drive your life.

8. You sometimes go too far.

Being all in can sometimes make you go too far, and leave you unaware of when to stop. This could lead to some serious accomplishment or some serious downfall. It's up to you to be cautious.

9. You are aggressive when it comes to what you want.

You see it, you go for it. You set your eyes on a new boy and you can't help but do something about it. You set your mind on a new goal, an internship or acing a test, and you work for it. People are always told there is nothing they can't do, but the difference is that you believe it.

10. You capture all that life offers you.

You aren't afraid of what may be and what may not be, you are willing to proceed anyway and let life happen as it may. You have a spirit about you that allows you to press on in the face of obstacles and rejoice in times of success. You have a beautiful soul that lets you see that world for not just what it is, but for what it can be, and for that you will never stop doing big things.

I hope you are proud of the 'all or nothing' kind of girl you are; I know I am.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
