1. Go Apple Picking

A few amazing places in Georgia are Mercier Orchards, Hillcrest Orchards, and B.J. Orchards are all up in beautiful Ellijay.

2. Watch Halloween Movies

Some of the best are Hocus Pocus, Nightmare before Christmas, and the first couple Halloweentown movies. If you want something scarier, here’s a great list to give you some ideas.

3. Buy Fall Scented Candles

Walmart has a large collection of strongly scented candles that are super cheap. Of course, there are always the classic Yankee candles.

4. Wear Comfy Sweaters

Don't forget the leggings and boots!

5. Carve a Pumpkin

After you picked it :)

6. Drink Hot Chocolate

With marshmallows and whipped cream!

7. Decorate for Halloween

Trust me, dollar stores actually have a pretty decent selection for cheap. Plus there are a ton of DIY options you can find online!

8. Go Hiking

Blue Ridge and the Georgia mountains are absolutely beautiful in the fall; the leaves change and the air just feels and smells like autumn.

9. Baking Anything Delicious

Cookies, cakes, pies, literally anything you want.

10. Throw a Halloween Party

Literally the best part of fall :)

I am without a doubt one of those people who refuses to start decorating for Christmas or listen to Christmas music until after Thanksgiving.
