10. Parfrey’s Glen State Natural Area
Located within Baraboo’s Devil’s Lake State Park, Parfrey’s Glen holds a hidden gem that is a breathtaking hike into lush greenery. Through the trail a small gorge follows a small creek with breathtaking rock formations that make even the most master of hikers take a moment to enjoy the view.
9. Hemlock Draw Natural Area
Located in North Freedom, Wisconsin, the natural area is settled around Honey Creek. Filled with beautiful wildflowers and large prairie trails, Hemlock Draw has a serene view any hiker will like.

True to the beautiful scenery of the Wisconsin Dells, Gibraltar Rock is nestled beyond Devil’s Lake. A bit of a challenge for novice hikers, the cliff-sides and serene country scenes are perfect reasons to visit.

A small area with an adventurous rock bridge is a perfect little place to enjoy a Wisconsin summer or fall day. A simple park with interesting trails give you the perfect place to enjoy a sunset.
5. Muir Park
A Nature Preserve in honor of the late naturalist, John Muir, the beautiful preserve is a scene of old prairie lands. The old trails gives a small glimpse back of what the Midwest was infamous for.
4. Point Beach State Forest
Settled in front of Lake Michigan, the forest features numerous trails, sandy beaches and a historic lighthouse. The park features a camping area among other small amenities to make a trip last as long as you want.

A Large park located near Baraboo is a popular canoeing spot. The beautiful cliffs and bluffs overlook Mirror Lake. The park also features hiking trails that any hiker, whether experienced or just starting can handle.

This park features beautiful meadows, forests and bluffs that any hiker or adventure-seeker can appreciate. Home to numerous plant life and extensive wilderness, the Devil’s Nose State Park promises an adventure.
