I know, it's still hot and no one is even thinking about fall, but why not start shopping for fall? Switching wardrobes between seasons is always so fun and so is picking up some of those essentials that make your outfits stand out. Here are some of the essentials and items that you totally need to pick up for fall:

1. Baby doll Dress

Outfits that are only piece are ideal; they look good, they are simple, and everyone loves them! What more could you ask for? You throw one on and are out the door! Pair them with cute accessories and a jacket and you are all set!

2. Booties

LOVE THESE!! They are adorable and literally look good with any outfit you pick. They are nice because in AZ it never gets hot enough to actually need real boots so these are a nice medium because you still get that boot look without having to be as hot as you are in summer.

3. Double Buckle Belt

Can we all agree this is the cutest item you will wear this Fall? Wear it with a skirt, jeans, a dress or high-waisted shorts. It looks good with anything you pair it with and gives you that cool, hipster, southern look.

4. Flannel Shirts

Wearing the same leggings for the third time in a row? Tie it around your waist and no one will know. Haven't done laundry in a month and are wearing a dirty shirt? Throw a flannel on and no one will know the difference. Need I say more? They are perfect for any situation! (And don't judge me, you know you have done both of those things).

5. Cat-Eyed Sunglasses

These are adorable, they are probably my favorite item that is trending for fall. They make a no make-up day look good and spice up a put together look as well. And obviously they will make your Instagram picture even cuter -- all your friends will want a pair.

6. Tees with Sayings/Bull Head

This item has been all over my Instagram feed lately, they give you that boho, hippie look. They also seem to come in neutral colors which go with the fall color scheme.

7. Button Up Skirt

These are a hipster's dream clothing item! Let's be real, every one of your hipster friends on Instagram have at least one post where they are wearing one. They are comfortable and easy to throw on.

8. Scarves

AZ people love these, it's never cool enough to wear them so when it's finally the right season you have to take advantage of it.

9. Backpacks

Backpacks are not just for back-to-school, they are so fun and have brands have really stepped up their game and made them adorable! They are also very functional, you can put all your "stuff" in it and carry it around all day long.

10. Black Leggings/Yoga Pants

I know, I know. This is a staple all year long but they are especially important during fall because they look great with boots and oversized sweaters.

With these essentials, you will be ready to be adorable as soon as fall arrives! Bring on the pumpkin spice lattes, hayrides, and cutesy pictures -- your wardrobe, and Instagram, can't wait!

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

Yes, it IS a sport. Yes, I fall all the time. No, I do not ride in jeans with a cowgirl hat on.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.
