There's nothing like that rush of adrenaline and excitement when your parents tell you that you're going to a tropical island for vacation. The anticipation of the trip is unreal. You're just so excited, so you start booking nail and waxing appointments and shopping for cute dinner outfits. Here are the 10 stages of going away on vacation.
1. Waking up and realizing you only have a week left until paradise. Let the countdown officially begin!
2. Trying to decide if you should go with a dark or light nail color for vacation. And then realizing how pale you are while getting a pedicure.
Oh, and walking out of the salon with your eyebrows all red from the wax.
3. Enter panic mode two days before.
Is my passport still valid? Do I have enough bathing suits? Did I bring enough cute outfits? WTF am I going to wear?!
4. Finally, you’ve arrived in paradise.
Don’t forget to Snapchat story the resort while your parents check in.
5. Wow, white sand and clear water. I’m never leaving this place.
6. It’s been three days and it’s time for a change of scenery. Adventure time!![]()
7. Just kidding, I’d still rather lay on the beach all day.
8. Here comes the denial stage. It’s the last day. Mom and dad can we stay here forever?
I don't want to leave.9. A sad plane ride home.
A heavy sweatshirt and sweatpants are your attire while you miserably return to the land of cold and boredom.
10. Is vacation really over?
Uploading all of these pictures to social media is giving me major withdrawal.
