Since the end of Gossip Girl, what is arguably getting most of its views these days for the CW is its DC Comics adaptation shows.

And while the first of these was Arrow, the most popular one of these is The Flash.

For the uninitiated, Barry Allen (aka the Flash) is one of DC Comics' most popular superheroes. He is portrayed by Grant Gustin here and will be by Ezra Miller in the DCEU films. His primary superpower is speed (duh), and before every episode of the show, he narrates; starting with "My name is Barry Allen and I am the Fastest Man Alive." The Flash brings so many of Barry Allen's and the DC universe's characters and stories come to life in unique and fun ways. And if they were around for Spring Break, they're the kind of people you know you want to be around. With Spring Break knocking on our doors, "My name is Barry Allen and I'm going to tell you 10 Spring Break Moments as told by me and my friends:"

1. Coming Home

People tell you to slow down, your home’s not going anywhere.

They don’t get it, do they? We’ve had this called college. We want our familiar home comfort ASAP.

2. Getting Drinks

(NOTE: Please only do this if you’re of legal drinking age)

We all need a good drink of booze. But now we don’t have to wait until the weekend to do so. And who knows? You might be lucky enough to meet someone at the bar or take someone you’ve always wanted to one.

Drink responsibly.

3. Binging all the TV shows and movies you couldn’t watch

Netflix, Hulu, YouTube and your couch is calling your name. So gather some snacks, some friends; throw back and enjoy the shows you couldn’t watch during the semester.

4. Eating. Lots of eating

Everyone likes food. College students…a bit more than others. So when you’re home, one of the top priorities no matter what is to stuff your mouth with as many delicacies as possible.

5. Running into that one person from high school

Oh boy.

You can’t stand this person. Maybe they wronged you or they just hate you and vice versa; the one bad part of coming home. So whenever they try to talk to you like nothing happened, your only reaction is…

6. Showing off

You’ve been in college. You’ve changed and fortunately, in more ways than one. Remember that one person whose attention you never got? Suddenly you’re the girl/guy of his dreams. But are you gonna pursue the option you once thought impossible, or have some karmic payback by playing blind to their affections as they did yours? The choice is up to you.

7. Reuniting with your old friends

These people don’t need description. They’ve been your friends for your whole life. They’re basically your blood siblings. Perhaps you had to go your separate ways for the time being because of college, but spring break has allowed for a reunion, despite staying in communication. So enjoy the time you have with them.

8. SLEEP

We’re college students. Being at least a little sleep-deprived is part of the job description. So it’s time to catch up.

9. Talking with your family

Mom, Dad, and your sibling(s) (if you have any) are waiting for any stories you might have. You grew up listening to their stories. It’s only fair you return the favor. Hopefully, they understand the humor of your boi failing to pick up a girl with a rather sad pickup line.

10. Returning to Campus

Spring Break has finally ended. And despite its shortness, you’re happy with what you got to experience during so. A temporary goodbye to your friends, family, and home.

See you in the summer.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.

For many undergraduates across the nation, the home stretch has begun. Only one more semester remains in our undergraduate career. Oh, the places we will go! For the majority of college seniors, this is simultaneously the best and worst year out of the past four and here’s why.

1. The classes you are taking are actually difficult.

A schedule full of easy pottery throwing and film courses is merely a myth on the average campus. With all of those prerequisites for the upper-level courses and the never-ending battle you fight each year during registration for limited class seats, senior year brings with it the ability to register for the final courses you need to fulfill your major. Yet, these are not the easy entry level courses. These are the comprehensive, end of major, capstone courses designed to apply the knowledge from all your previous courses, usually in the form of an extensive research paper or engaged learning project. The upside is you actually probably really enjoy these classes but alas there is no room for slackers here.
