From the minors to the majors, the state of Ohio has a handful of sports arenas featuring a variety of sports. Whether you just do a drive by or attend a game, the true Ohio sports fan won’t miss these ten locations.

Pro Football Hall of Fame

Whether you are a football fan or not, it is a pretty big deal to have a professional hall of fame within reach. Whether you are a diehard sports fan, or just looking for a different family, day trip, the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio is the place for you.

Paul Brown Stadium

Of course, the perfect place for Bengals fans, but is also worthy of a visit by any football fans. Since the facility does not offer tours, getting some reasonable priced tickets and attending a game is the best way to experience this stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Quicken Loans Arena

What better time to see a Cavaliers game at Quicken Loans Arena than right now? If you are available on game day, you won’t regret seeing Lebron James and the defending National Champions lay the smack down in Cleveland. They are also home to the arena football team, the Cleveland Gladiators and the minor league team for the Bluejackets, the Cleveland Monsters.

Great American Ballpark

“Great” is in the title for a reason. This spectacular ballpark in Cincinnati is worthy of a tour, or better yet, attend a Reds game. In addition, be sure to check out the Reds Hall of Fame inside the ballpark. But be cautious when planning your tour of the facility, tours vary on gamedays.

First Energy Stadium

Perhaps only a recommended stop for diehard Browns fans, the stadium is certainly cheap entertainment for the whole family or sports fan club. One thing is for sure, if you find yourself in Cleveland on game day, you are sure to have a unique experience, even if that solely consists of tailgating and people watching.

Progressive Field

Another good place to visit sooner, rather than later. With the Indians fresh off a trip to the World Series, the Tribe surely has a chance to return. Hurry out to Cleveland and catch a regular season game while the team is marching strong.

Huntington Park

For those of you more content with close seating and less chaos, a Clippers game is the place for you. Plus, the tickets are pretty cheap and you can catch a double deal if you show up on dime-a-dog night. A Clippers game is perfect family fun in the state capital.

Nationwide Arena

While in the state capital, you can’t miss the infamous Nationwide Arena, which is not only the home of the Bluejackets, but also hosts many other events including professional wrestling, concerts and more.

Mapfre Stadium

For the soccer fans, or those who are looking for a change of pace, make a stop at Mapfre Stadium to cheer on the Columbus Crew. If you have never been to a soccer game but have always wanted to, here is your chance to try it out close to home.

Horseshoe

You wouldn’t be a complete Ohio sports fan without a trip to the Horseshoe at Ohio State University to watch the infamous Ohio State Buckeyes football team dominate. You don’t have to be a student to enjoy some buckeye football. It is worth the experience to see a game in person, but if you wish to avoid the hefty price, look into a spring game.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
