10 Spongebob Quotes That Perfectly Describe Life

Its been 16 years since the first season of "SpongeBob SquarePants" aired on television, and other than a decline in the show's quality, it still holds strong for those that grew up with it. Each SpongeBob episode was as memorable as the last with several moments in the show that will stand the tests of times. Although it is unlikely that someone can relate to a sponge who lives in a pineapple under the sea, there are certain instances when that sponge, and his friends, could perfectly describe some of the moments in your life.

I have collected 10 quotes that most people will be able to relate to at least one point in their life:

1. Trying to explain your thoughts to people.

"The inner mechanisms of my mind are an enigma"

2. Having to work retail for your summer job.

"Here, please hit me as hard as you can"

3. Having to deal stupid people.

Sandy: "Don't you have to be stupid somewhere else?"
Patrick: "Not until 4"

4. Being confident in your flaws.

"I'm ugly and I'm proud"

5. Being a little too confident.

"You've reached the house of unrecognized talent."

6. Getting ready to go out.

SpongeBob: "Patrick, are you ready to party tonight?"
Patrick: "I'm ready to party!"
SpongeBob: "Are you ready to get crazy?!"
Patrick: "I'm already hearing voices!"

7. Having to wake up for class.

Nah, I don't really feel like it"

8. Being embarrassed by your friends.

Billy: "Those guys are dorks"
Flying Dutchman: "Yes, but they're my dorks"

9. Setting your career goals high.

"Or a football playing king in space, with a mustache."

10. Working out too hard.

"Every morning I break my legs, and every afternoon I break my arms. At night I lie awake in agony until my heart attacks put me to sleep."

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
