Remember your earlier years? Say fifth to ninth grade? Yeah, we all try to forget, but these ten songs will bring back so many memories of those times. You played them out then but when you give them a listen now, you'll be shocked that you still know every word including the secluded "yeah" or "oh" in the background.

1. "Low" - Flo Rida

This song was your song back in middle school and it's still your song. When it first comes on, you're like "Wow I haven't heard this song in awhi- Shawty had them apple bottom jeans." You're also equally as shocked as Flo Rida that her boots were with the fur.

2. "TiK ToK" - Ke$ha

You're still waking up feeling like P. Diddy tbh. You listen to it now, and you're like, "Present me, why did you let past me listen to music about 'everybody gettin' crunk'?" The popo needs to shut that down.

3. "Since U Been Gone" - Kelly Clarkson

When this song comes on, you're suddenly going through a 90210 level breakup, OK. Because thanks to them, now you get what you want.

4. "DONTTRUSTME" - 3Oh!3

Another song that you're like, "Honestly, why did my mother let me listen to this at age 12?" That line about being a vegetarian is just so witty though like... Come on.

5. "Party in the USA" - Miley Cyrus

Don't even front. Everybody loves this song. You are definitely noddin' your head like yeah. And the Pitch Perfect version? That just reignited the eternal flame in our hearts.

6. "Burnin' Up" - Jonas Brothers

OK, even if you hated the Jonas Brothers during their peak (because it was the cool thing to do, obviously), you love this song now. How could you not? It gives you that weird childhood nostalgia, even if you took pride in your boy band hatred back then.

7. "I Like It" - Enrique Iglesias featuring Pitbull

As soon as this comes on it's instantly spring break. You go from your bedroom to Miami Beach in like 2.5 seconds. One love, one love.

8. "Like a G6" - Far East Movement

Why was this song such a hit? Nobody will ever know. The beat just infects you. Did anyone even know what a G6 was before they Googled it when this song came out? Probably not. Everyone's poppin' bottles in the ice, though.

9. "Party Rock Anthem" - LMFAO

Party Rock. Remember when LMFAO was a thing? We all do. After they rocked the scene with "Sexy and I Know It," everyone was down AF for some more of these dudes. Never learned how to shuffle but whatever.

10. "Hollaback Girl" - Gwen Stefani

Ooooh, this my sh. This my sh. Classic. There's just no words to express the love we all have for this song. If you didn't know how to spell bananas, you do now.

Now you're gonna' go listen to all of these songs, lets be real.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies.
