With school now in full swing and stress levels being as high as ever, it's important to find something that keeps us motivated to go to class. For me, that has always been music. Whether I'm waking up in the morning, walking to class, or getting ready to go to sleep, I always need to have my music going. Getting back to a steady school schedule is hard, but it helps when you've got the right playlist to get you through the day!
Let's be real: life is hard, and we need something that is going to force us to get up in the morning. Here are the 10 songs that always get me going.
1. Work From Home by Fifth Harmony.
Low-key, this is why I'm always running 15 minutes behind every morning. I mean seriously, who doesn't love this song!
2. One Dance by Drake.
"I need one dance, got hennessey in my hand. One more time 'for I go, higher powers taking a hold on me. I need one dan-"...okay, you get the point. If this doesn't get you feeling peppy in the morning I just can't trust you.
3. Panda by Desiigner.
I Googled the lyrics to this song and I ended up even more confused than I was before. But that's okay, at least it sounds good?
4. Famous by Kanye West.
After that snake Taylor Swift tried to lie about having no knowledge of this song and its' lyrics, I find myself listening to this song more than ever before.
5. Good For You by Selena Gomez ft. A$AP Rocky.
This girl can't sing worth a damn but Revival is by far the best album she's ever put out. Not to mention that she's serving Justin Bieber the ultimate revenge by looking the best she's ever looked.
6. Untitled 07 by Kendrick Lamar.
K-Dot put out a whole album of untitled throw away songs and it still charted. Let that sink in.
7. 502 Come Up by Bryson Tiller.
It's impossible to go to school in Louisville without being in love with Bryson Tiller.
8. Put Your Records On by Corinne Bailey Rae
"Girl put your records on, tell me your favorite song. You go ahead let your hair down".
9. Formation by Beyoncé.
ALL HAIL QUEEN BEY!
10. Can't Tell Me Nothing by Kanye West.
"LA, LA, LA, LA, WAIT TIL I GET MY MONEY RIGHT"-says every broke college student.
