We all like feeling like we're invincible and nobody can touch us because of how cool we are. Sometimes if we want to feel that way, we need a really cool soundtrack, much like all the best action movies have. Here are ten songs, in no particular order, that will make you feel as indestructible and hardcore as The Terminator.

1. "Ten Tonne Skeleton" by Royal Blood

This song is grooving and rocking and has all the makings of a cool tune to blast in your car. The bass line throughout the song is infectious and the overall groove and rhythm the song has is sure to make anyone strut around like they're important.

2. "Spore" by Queensrÿche

This hard-hitting progressive metal track is nothing short of epic. From the incredible instrumentation to Todd La Torre's soaring vocals, this song is sure to make you feel like you're on top of the world.

3. "Through the Fire and Flames" by DragonForce

If you've ever played Guitar Hero, you're probably familiar with this song. The guitar throughout the entire song is incredible. I highly recommend listening to the full version of the track and not just the music video edit. It will make you feel that much more in power.

4. "Deep Six" by Marilyn Manson

Marilyn Manson goes for a bit of a blues vibe with this song and it definitely works. The instrumentation and Manson's harsher vocals in the chorus make for an astounding track that will make you want to march up to Zeus and tell him off despite what the song says.

5. "One" by Metallica

There was no possible way a Metallica song couldn't be placed on this list. From the intro of various battle sounds to the haunting rhythm guitar to the vocals, everything about this song says hardcore. Even though it starts out slow, when this song picks up, it really packs a punch.

6. "Prancer" by The Dillinger Escape Plan

The Dillinger Escape Plan have been known to be very crazy and chaotic with their music and this song strongly supports that statement. Greg Puciato goes off the walls with his vocal performance on this track and the instrumentals are absolutely insane. This is an extreme song from an extreme band.

7. "Strife" by Trivium

This track makes you feel like you're heading into battle. It has that intense atmosphere about it that makes for an incredible listening experience.

8. "I'm Broken" by Pantera

Once the opening riff of this track hits, you know something's about to go down. Pantera has a lot of hard-hitting jams in their catalog, but this one takes the cake when it comes to making you feel hardcore.

9. "Poltergeist" by Deftones

You might not expect much from the clapping intro in this song, but it quickly goes into an all-out head-banging jam. This song is perfect for getting a little rage out and feeling awesome while doing it.

10. "Hail to the King" by Avenged Sevenfold

Finally, we have this epic jam from Avenged Sevenfold. Nothing makes you feel more untouchable than feeling like a king. That's exactly what this song does with its majestic guitar work, gritty vocals, and reoccurring "hail" chants. You might even want to throw on a cape and a crown while listening to this song.

If you ever need to boost your self-confidence or you just want to feel like you're all that, definitely give these songs a listen.

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?
