We all have those days where we need a little pick me up, whether it was caused by waking up on the wrong side of the bed, someone peed in our Cheerios or just not a great day. I have always found music has helped me get through the worst of days to the best of days because when words fail, music speaks.

Music has a way of saying everything you are feeling in just about 3 minutes so if you need some motivation, something to dance to, or even saying forget you, I have compiled a listed of 10 songs to help lift the mood.

1. The Light - Disturbed

When you think all is forsaken
Listen to me now (all is not forsaken)
You need never feel broken again
Sometimes darkness can show you the light

Not all Disturbed songs are "Oh, ah ah ah ah" (coming from someone who loves Disturbed) but this song is definitely one to make you feel like when one door closes another one opens.

2. Don't Stop - Fleetwood Mac

Don't stop thinking about tomorrow
Don't stop, it'll soon be here
It'll be here better than before
Yesterday's gone, yesterday's gone

Fleetwood Mac is a classic and how can you not tap your foot, sing along and just feel happier with this one?

3. Haterz - Todrick Hall

So turn the radio up
Play that beat loud
For everyone that tried to bring me down
This one's for you
This one's for you
So make the radio blast
Hands in the air
They can kiss my -
Ask me if I care
This one's for you
This one's for you
Haterz

Honestly a great "f you" song with a fantastic upbeat tune. This is all about self-love and not caring what others think.

4. When The Day Comes - Nico & Vinz

Even when the sky comes falling down
I'll be ready when the sky comes falling down

Watch the music video, you won't regret it. It shows inner strength and to keep fighting even if it is difficult.

5. I'm Still Standing - Elton John

Don't you know that I'm still standing better than I ever did
Looking like a true survivor, feeling like a little kid
I'm still standing after all this time
Picking up the pieces of my life without you on my mind

The version from "Sing" is also fantastic, but this just reminds us that we are still standing and to keep moving forward.

6. Try Everything - Shakira

I won't give up, no I won't give in
Till I reach the end
And then I'll start again
Though I'm on the lead
I wanna try everything

Honestly, watch "Zootopia." Not only is that a great feel-good movie, this song will only enhance that feeling.

7. Roll With It - Steve Winwood

When life is too much, roll with it, baby
Don't stop and lose your touch, oh no, baby
Hard times knocking on your door
I'll tell them you ain't there no more
Get on through it, roll with it, baby

A fantastic beat, it just grooves. Whenever life is hard, just roll with it and you'll be fine.

8. You Make My Dreams - Hall and Oates

On a night when bad dreams become a screamer
When they're messin' with a dreamer
I can laugh it in the face

This is a fun upbeat song that we all know and can't help but sing along to. It will put you in a good mood and lift the spirits.

9. I Wanna Dance with Somebody - Whitney Houston

Oh, I wanna dance with somebody
I wanna feel the heat with somebody
Yeah, I wanna dance with somebody
With somebody who loves me

This song just makes you want to dance and puts you in a good mood. Sometimes you just have to dance it out.

10. Don't Stop Me Now - Queen

I'm a shooting star leaping through the sky
Like a tiger defying the laws of gravity
I'm a racing car passing by like Lady Godiva
I'm going to go go go
There's not stopping me

Queen, what a classic. Nothing can stop you, so keep pushing.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
