With summer less than a month away, it’s time to start building your playlist for pool days and late night drives. So kick back your feet and take over the aux with confidence because you might just have the best playlist around.

1. "T-Shirt" by Thomas Rhett

Okay, who doesn’t want to be wearing Thomas Rhett’s t-shirt? This song has a contagious beat and is great for days on the lake.

2. "Once In A While" by Timeflies

If you’ve listened to Timeflies before, you know they never disappoint. If you’re looking for a summer feel good song, here you go.

3. "Team" by Iggy Azalea

So it’s been awhile since we had some good Iggy in our lives, but this song kind of hits the spot and has a pretty catchy chorus.

4. "Lights Come On" by Jason Aldean

This is classic Jason Aldean, and we can't seem to get his songs out of our heads. This one is no exception

5. "If It Ain't Love" by Jason Derulo

Jason Derulo is hard not to love and just gets better and better with each album. He’s also performing at the Iowa State Fair this summer so that’s another reason to jump on the bandwagon.

6. "No Broken Hearts" by Bebe Rexha (Feat. Nicki Minaj)

Girls, here’s your summer anthem. Plus we all have a soft spot for Nicki.

7. "Snapback" by Old Dominion

Alright, so we’re over Old Dominion begging that one girl to break up with that dude that she didn’t really like. This song is awesome and perfect for those late night ice cream runs.

8. "Don't Let Me Down" by The Chainsmokers

These guys have really been coming through with their music and here we go again. This song features the very talented Daya, and might just cause a spontaneous dance party.

9. "Rock Bottom" by Hailee Steinfeld (Feat. DNCE)

We love Hailee Steinfeld almost as much as she loves herself, and you're really going to dig this song.

10. "No Love Like Yours" by Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros

Just released on April 15, this song is off of their new album "PersonA" and it’s nothing short of amazing.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours.
