10 Songs Every Boy Band Fanatic Will Never Forget

I have a confession to make...

I'm a former boy band fanatic! Alright, who am I kidding? I am STILL a boy band fanatic. I have always loved music and loved everything about it. From the harmonies, to the melody, to the beautiful instruments and voices, music has a way of speaking to me like nothing else can. And I love ALL types of music..

But you know what they say... You always remember and stand by your "first love." And My own first love when it comes to music just happened to hit me back in first grade...when my parents bought me my first CD....."No Strings Attached" by N'sync.

From "Bye Bye Bye" to "Just Got Paid" I loved EVERY single song on that CD. This was pretty much the moment in time my boy band obsession began. I mean how could it not? Justin Timberlake AND Lance Bass! Oh my Word. And the years after only deepened my love for the wonder that is none other than..a boy band. and, I know i'm not the only one! So, I wanted to create a list of songs that would help bring back some memories for all of my fellow boy band lovers out there.

10. "Summer Girls" by: LFO

New Kids on the block had a bunch of hits..chinese food makes me sick.. I can't even type those words without singing the song in my head. This was one of my personal favorites. LFO had a way of creating the most catchy, summertime music that everybody couldn't help but love. Or who am I kidding? Rich Cronin may have been a lot of my motivation for liking them as well...what a babe!

9. "The Hardest Thing" by: 98 Degrees

Those dance moves though! And those harmonies! 98 Degrees may have had the cheesiest boy band lyrics ever..but that's why we loved them right? And you couldn't help but scream out that one line.. "SHE'S BEEN GOOD TO ME, SHE DESERVES BETTER THAN MEEE." There was just something about those lyrics that got you right in the feels..Nick Lachey may or may not have had a lot to do with it too...swoon.

8. "All Or Nothing" By: O'Town

All Or Nothing...a song that could describe your relationship with a person..with food..with pretty much anything. And it has the most epic key change at the end that bumps up the cheesy emotion so much more! Thank Goodness for this song...without it we may have never known of the splendor that was O'Town...who couldn't love those faces, those outfits, or those voices!?

7. MMM'Bop by: Hanson

Oh Mmmbop... now that I'm older I've realized that other than the catchy melody and chorus, its actually a really good song because the lyrics are kind of meaningful! "You have so many relationships in this life, only one or two will last, you go through all the pain and strife, and you turn your back and they're gone so fast.." I mean..that's pretty deep and my young, 90's self never realized it! Also..can we talk about how all of the Hanson brothers are now in their thirties..whoa. But no matter how old they get..this song will always be one that is sure to make everybody happy! Can't go wrong with this one.

6. Bump Bump Bump by: B2K

Before O'Marion was out here telling us how it's "Post to Be" he was in B2K, singing' with P'Diddy and making every girl swoon with those on point dance moves. Most of you probably didn't expect my list to include B2K but..surprise!

And now...the rest of my list will probably just include the Backstreet Boys and N'Sync..

5. It's Gonna Be Me by: N'sync

Contrary to popular belief..the lyrics are actually "Me" and not "May.."

4. "I Want it That Way" by: The Backstreet Boys

Oh Nick Carter...sigh... :) The boy band ballad of all boy band ballads. I bet you're probably singing it to yourself at this very moment. "You are my fire, the one desire" Those lyrics are pretty simple and cheesy but there was just something about BSB singing them that cut right to the heart.

3. "Everybody (Backstreet's Back) by: The Backstreet Boys

The only dancey and fun song that ever seemed to come out of BSB and thank goodness because what would we have done without seeing those epic dance moves from AJ? "BACKSTREET'S BACK ALRIGHT!"

2. Tearin' Up My Heart By: N'Sync

Let it go...If you want me girl let me know..Those matching white shirts though!

1. "Bye Bye Bye" By: N'Sync

Do I really need to say much about this one? Between those dance moves, Justin's Ramen Noodle Hair, and JC'S "Bye Byeeee, Babyyyyy" at the end, I just couldn't and still can't get enough of this one. Fun Fact: I sang and danced to this song at my kindergarten talent show. I was devoted. This one is my favorite.

I hope you all enjoyed my list! It's okay if you want to spend the next few hours jamming to your favorite boy band songs that you forgot you loved..I get it.

Long Live Awkward outfits, lame dance moves, and the boy band era!

10 Truths About Being In A Sorority

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
